A novelty from the Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines Mineral Show. Uniaxial and parallel growths of octahedral Acanthite pseudomorphous after Argentite crystals. With very well defined faces and edges, these specimens have an exceptional luster, much better than other Acanthite specimens from Imiter we have seen before. The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Rivista Mineralogica Italiana’ on page 190 in number 2008/3. Imiter, Anti-Atlas Morocco (12/2007) Specimen size: 3.9 × 2.9 × 2.4 cm = 1.5” × 1.1” × 0.9” Main crystal size: 0.4 × 0.3 cm = 0.2” × 0.1”
