Platy growths showing the so-called sawtooth shape, of Barite crystals with a very well marked geometrical color zoning, colorless and clear in the center and opaque white on the borders with reddish Hematite inclusions. Some of the crystals are partially coated by small crystalline Dioptase. Oumjrane area, Alnif, Errachidia Morocco (09/2011) Specimen size: 8.5 × 5.7 × 5.2 cm = 3.3” × 2.2” × 2.0”

Floater parallel growth of thin tabular crystals of Barite that are sharp with very well defined faces and edges. They are translucent and very bright and have flattened crystals of Marcasite that show, very well marked, the twin known as "cockscomb", with bright disphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite and minor crystals of Siderite. The specimen has been reviewed, photographed and published as a new discovery in the magazine ‘Mineral Up’ on page 48 in number 2012/2 Bou Nahas, Oumjrane area, Alnif, Errachidia Morocco (12/2011-01/2012) Specimen size: 4.6 × 4.5 × 1.5 cm = 1.8” × 1.8” × 0.6” Main crystal size: 4.4 × 1.8 cm = 1.7” × 0.7”

Short disphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite with a false appearance of the tetrahedron. They have very well defined faces and edges, are extraordinarily bright and some of them are very individualized. They are on matrix, with Quartz crystals. Bou Nahas, Oumjrane area, Alnif, Errachidia Morocco (12/2011-01/2012) Specimen size: 9.7 × 6.2 × 2.2 cm = 3.8” × 2.4” × 0.9” Main crystal size: 1.2 × 1 cm = 0.5” × 0.4”

Drusy growth, on matrix, of short disphenoidal crystals of Chalcopyrite. They have a second phase of crystallization, of granular aspect, that coats the faces of the first crystalline growth. They are with comb-shaped growths of Quartz crystals. Bou Nahas, Oumjrane area, Alnif, Errachidia Morocco (12/2011-01/2012) Specimen size: 13 × 7.6 × 3.7 cm = 5.1” × 3.0” × 1.5” Main crystal size: 1 × 1 cm = 0.4” × 0.4”

A novelty at St. Marie 2013. Echeloned growths of Pyrite perched on sharp casts left by preexisting thick tabular Barite crystals that have been dissolved and subsequently replaced by a second generation of smaller colorless and transparent crystals of the same Barite partially coating the Pyrite. Bou Nahas, Oumjrane area, Alnif, Errachidia Morocco (04/2013) Specimen size: 9.5 × 8.6 × 5.8 cm = 3.7” × 3.4” × 2.3”

Aggregate of cubic crystals of Pyrite with polycrystalline growths on their faces. They are very bright and have curved faces and edges and skeletal forms on the back side that reveal holes left by former crystals, probably Barite. Bou Nahas, Oumjrane area, Alnif, Errachidia Morocco (12/2011-01/2012) Specimen size: 8.3 × 7 × 4.5 cm = 3.3” × 2.8” × 1.8” Main crystal size: 1.2 × 1 cm = 0.5” × 0.4”
